On 17 August 2022, the 7-day follow-up camp of the Youth United in Peace (YU- Peace) network started in Vukovar, Croatia. The meeting is organised by our local partner organisation „Our House Europe“. Over the next few days, the 54 participants from Tuzla, Srebrenica, Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje and Brčko (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Sombor (Serbia) and Vukovar itself will look forward to a colourful programme with exciting political workshops and community-building activities.

On the first day, the groups started with a workshop on religion, faith and national identity, in which the young people tried to define and question these terms for themselves. At the same time, there was an intensive discussion about nationalism and patriotism, both topics that have a significant influence on the social climate of the respective countries and the reality of the young people’s lives.
