The use of our website is usually possible without providing using personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email address) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. It is not possible to completely protect data from third-party access. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly adhere to the rules of data protection laws. We only collect personal data to the extent that is technically and objectively necessary. This data is on the protected high-performance computers of our German hosting provider.
Under no circumstances will the data collected be sold by us. We do not pass them on to third parties for any other reason. The following declaration gives you an overview of how we guarantee this protection and what type of data is collected and for what purpose.
1. Server log files
We automatically collect and save server log files that your browser transmits to us. These are:

For us, this data cannot be assigned to specific persons. The collection, processing and use of the so-called inventory data is permitted by law because it is absolutely necessary for a contractual relationship as well as for the usage and billing data with our hoster and their teleservices and bills. This data is not merged with other data sources, and the data is also deleted after statistical analysis.
2. Cookies
In some places we use so-called cookies. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called „session cookies“. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Cookies do no damage to your computer and contain no viruses.
3. Orders, contacts, requests for information or other materials
If you would like to order our publications or request further information, we need your postal address and a valid email address. Your IP address will also be saved when you send your order / request. Further data is not collected. They are also added to our database when you place an order and receive our call for donations and our brief information by post once a year (twice a year in total). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the email address, the IP address and your postal address as well as the receipt of the call for donations and the brief information at any time. We use your data exclusively for the purpose stated in the respective text and only save it within the legally permissible periods.
4. Log files / evaluation programs of log files
In addition to the log files that our web hoster makes available to us, we use evaluation programs that enable us to display the data from the log files in a form that is legible to us and to obtain detailed statistics. We save this data for 30 days and then automatically delete it. They are used only for internal evaluation and are not made available to third parties. An assignment to persons cannot be made here either.
5. Right to information
You have the right to be informed at any time about the data stored regarding your person, their origin and recipient as well as the purpose of the data processing.
