This year in the run-up to Christmas we will surprise you every monday after every Advent weekend with a small video clip. These video clips show the highlights of the 2021 “Vacation from War” project from different perspectives.

Under the motto „Skills for Activism“, we organized a six-part online workshop series in November. Here, former participants, partners and their friends had the opportunity to learn and deepen useful skills and methods in order to become active together for change in their societies. In addition, the online meetings offered a unique opportunity to exchange with activists from the other project region about their struggles. This exchange and the content of the workshops – civil disobedience, countering hate speech online, digital security, creative writing, sustainable activism and campaigning – inspired many participants, such as Vlasta Markovic, who reports on the online academy in this video clip.
